DotComGuy has implemented technology from White Pine's Videochat Your Site package to enable him to see, hear and chat with other users live over the Internet for the three days of the show. White Pine is hosting the MeetingPoint conference server that provides the backend technology for Internet videochat and other group videoconferencing applications. The company is demonstrating DotComGuy's implementation of videochat as one of several live demonstrations at the Internet World trade show in Los Angeles. Each of the demos features CU-SeeMe Web technology powering a different application scenario such as visual instant messaging, face-to-face ecommerce and web-based Internet videochat.
