The College of Saint Rose men's basketball team begins the first of two important tournaments today.
Important, that is, because the first will help the Golden Knights get ready for the 1990s, and the second will help them prove their success in the late 1980s (37- 5 over the past two seasons) was no fluke.
The first stop is the Sacred Heart Tournament in Fairfield, Conn., in which St. Rose meets St. Anselm in today's first game.
